Got a valuable piece of advice today. Something I've always forgotten when I wallow in self-pity.
Shit happens.
I guess... that's all I've got to say about that.
For the first time in my life, I arrived home before 1:00. I didn't have much to do in school. Naiwan ko pa cellphone ko sa bahay so parang paralisado ako at wala akong magawang matino.
Plus, yung stat101 na quiz ko, postponed. Nag-aral pa naman ako.
Nothing much to say. Natulog lang naman ako buong araw. At nagbasa ng konti for the quiz sa jprizal bukas.
Activities for this week and the coming month:
jan27: quiz sa Jprizal. jan28: quiz sa stat101. jan29: university day, dapat walang pasok, pero may special seminars/classes. Papasok ako sa class ni Sir Groyon. :) jan30: none scheduled yet [oy rhode! punta kang rp! manonood ako lotr:rotk! di ako nakapanood ngayon e!] jan31: la salle-ateneo party! feb7: birthday ni kix. feb14: april fools day/valentine's day. di ko alam kung ano gagawin ko this day, probably watch people make fools of themselves. Maganda daw yung valentine week sa la salle e. feb21: debut ni rhoderiezl! whole of february: wednesday classes with sir groyon, 6-8 pm.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. I was crying torrents during this scene. Added to that was the 'favoritism' scene of the steward of Gondor [i forgot his friggin' name] to his son, Faramir. Somehow, favoritism gets to me. When Faramir said, "You wish that I had died instead of Boromir" [or something to that effect], and his father said, "Yes", and I saw tears in Faramir's eyes, I wanted to murder his father. But all I could do was curl up in the theater chair and cry. The song was interspersed with scenes of Faramir and his troops riding to certain death, just to please his father. That got to me, too. Fighting futile battles always succeed in touching me. That's why I very nearly cried during Matrix Revolutions. Not because of that cheezy shit between the commander and the young boy, but because the people were lining up and facing a battle they know they can't win.

:::2004-01-20-8:40 p.m.::: Iba talaga pag may physical manifestation ang emotions. I was thinking that I was over him. That he ceased to matter anymore. Well, he ceased to matter that much. My brother asked me if he could borrow the lighter that g(x) gave me a while back. When I gave it, he kept flicking and flicking. It didn't light. My g(x) lighter's dead. Maybe that was the only thing that sustained me all this time. True enough, I don't go gaga over him as much nowadays. Finally, I'm moving on.
:::2004-01-19-8:09 p.m.::: Recruitment week ngayon! :) Join Malate! At habang nakatambay kami dun, gumagawa ako ng layout para kay dandi [sorry, bigla akong nawalan ng inspirasyon nung nasa may body na ako], nagkukuwentuhan tungkol sa jakamawatan (sp?) at nag-usap tungkol sa LOTR. Speaking of which, nagkuwento si Ato tungkol sa isang interview [allegedly] kay Peter Jackson. Sabi niya, nagulat at semikindasorta nairita siya sa mga tao nung nakita niyang napakaraming nagsulputang pages about Frodo, Legolas, Aragorn, etc. Wala man lang daw page tungkol kay Sauron, which is really the 'protagonist' of the story. [That would make Frodo et al the antagonists, which is a very revolutionary idea]. The title was "The Lord of the Rings", not "The Cute Hobbit with the Curly Hair." Needless to say, we dissolved in laughter. Too bad I had to go early because I still had to attend to my educational plan. Well, what has been happening lately? I'm in lethargy. I don't even know what happened. The highlight of last week was Saturday night. We went to Starbucks Glorietta which is situated under the Oakwood towers (I think). Anyway, while we were enjoying a drink, I happened to look up. And I saw three people, two women [I knew because they had... er... voluptuous bodies] and a man. They were cavorting, well, having sex or somewhat outside the balcony. I think they saw me staring at them because they closed the window. Uh... Also, I had my ROTC earlier that Saturday. We were mainly led to the Pablo Nicholas Auditorium where we were oriented [orientated?] on basic ROTC rules and regulations and history. And then, we were led to the field where we stood under the hot sun, trying to memorize commands. My shoes were also half a size or so short, so my feet and legs were killing me by the time I got home. I love ROTC.

Hindi pa ako nakakapagbasa e. :D At pinahiram ako ng kaibigan ko ng Genpsyc book kaya nabasa ko na rin yung dapat basahin dun. At nakabili na rin ako ng Sociology book kaya hindi na ako magkakandarapa kakaxerox o kakahanap ng pwedeng mabasang libro. :D *antok*
